McMaster’s radio station, CFMU 93.3 is holding a fundraiser concert to support the station itself. This is important to me and my close friends who have hosted their own radio shows throughout my undergraduate degree at McMaster University. 

If I am not mistaken, CFMU 93.3 is one of the only independent radio stations in Hamilton. It is absolutely essential for future generations of students to have this great tool at their disposal. CFMU is unlike most radio stations in the area because of its emphasis on maintaining multicultural programming. More importantly, CFMU is commercial-free, hence the need for this kind of annual fundraising. 

I urge my friends & family to participate in this event on March 24th. If you’re in Hamilton and have nothing to do on a Saturday Night, go on down to This Ain’t Hollywood and pay 8 dollars at the door and enjoy some live music - for the sake of public radio.
